founded in 1968 with the purpose of
producing refractory coating for the
steel ingot industry and began supplying
spray dried products for the Continuous
Casting Process (ladle, tundish and
mould) in 1977. |

Our modern process
plant includes:
- a large grinding section,
- a number of mixing tanks to prepare
the customer-specific products before
the Spray Drying process, silos and
covered areas for the storage of raw
materials, silos for finished products,
an automatic packaging system to pack
paper or plastic bags, on pallets, or
in cardboard boxes or in big bags up
to 1000 kg each on pallets.
- a modern laboratory for the quality
control of raw materials as well as
intermediate process stages and finished
products.
- a complete system for the treatment
and recovery of industrial water and
sludge

The spray dried
powders main features:
- Extremely free flowing and self spreading
over the molten steel
- Easy feeding through simple automatic
gravity systems
- Constant and uniform behaviour during
application
- Maximum reproducibility of desired
results
- Long storage validity (one year)
due to the low hygroscopic behaviour
and
the lack of free oxides
- No raw materials containing bonded
or crystallization water
- High insulating and covering capacity,
low specific weight
- Strong chemical reactivity with molten
steel impurities
- Highly ecological, definitely dust
free

formulated following the customer's specific
requests/needs based on the quality and
the types of steel produced and on the
caster plant peculiar characteristics
of the caster plant. |
